Effective Date: May 26, 2025
Last Updated: May 26, 2025
At PACO, the safety and well-being of our users—especially teenagers aged 15 to 17—are our highest priorities. We recognize the unique responsibility we hold when providing a digital platform that is accessible to minors. This Child Safety Policy outlines the measures we take to protect underage users, prevent exploitation, and maintain a trusted environment in full compliance with Google Play’s Child Safety Policy, COPPA, GDPR, and other international laws related to child safety.
1. Our Commitment to Child Protection
PACO has a zero-tolerance policy toward any content or behavior that puts minors at risk. This includes:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): The presence, sharing, or promotion of any illegal or exploitative material involving minors is strictly prohibited.
- Grooming Behavior: We actively monitor for suspicious communication patterns that may indicate attempts to manipulate or coerce minors.
- Sexual or Suggestive Content involving minors: Any content—textual, visual, or video-based—that includes or is directed toward users under 18 in a sexualized or inappropriate context is not permitted.
- Harassment or Exploitation: We immediately remove and take action against users who threaten, harass, or exploit minors in any form.
If such behavior is detected, it will be promptly reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or relevant law enforcement agencies where required.
2. Built-in Safety Features and Controls
To ensure our platform remains secure for teen users, PACO includes multiple layered safeguards:
Age-Gated Features
- Users must declare their date of birth during registration.
- Age-restricted functionalities (e.g., messaging, discovery) are only enabled for appropriate age groups.
Moderation of User-Generated Content (UGC)
- All photos, bios, comments, and interactive content are monitored for any exploitative or inappropriate content through AI and manual review.
- Suspicious uploads are flagged and automatically removed pending investigation
Blocking and Reporting Tools
- Every user profile includes "Block" and "Report" options for safety concerns.
- Reports related to child exploitation or abuse are triaged by our Trust & Safety team and reviewed urgently.
- Real-Time Behavioral Monitoring
- Automated systems detect grooming language, repeat contact attempts, and abnormal communication patterns, triggering immediate review for potential abuse.
3. Strict Policy Enforcement
Any breach of our child safety standards leads to immediate enforcement, which may include:
- Removal of content involving minors or exploitative material
- Account suspension or permanent bans
- Device bans for users involved in repeated or serious offenses
- Mandatory reporting to law enforcement and child protection agencies
- Repeat or severe offenders will be prohibited from accessing the platform permanently.
4. Empowering Parents and Guardians
We encourage parents and guardians to:
- Discuss online safety with their teens
